What Happens Next?
Our initial meeting can be in person or online, with a nice cup of coffee or something stronger! It's a getting to know each other time to make sure you're happy for me to be your Celebrant. I'll then ask lots of questions, to make sure I have the whole love story and more. I'll give advice and suggestions, but the final decisions are yours. I go away and write a draft ceremony. I leave out certain parts so there's a surprise on the day! I provide sample vows or a piece on how to write our own vows. You can have candles, poems, readings, songs, knot ceremonies, sand ceremonies or any other type of ceremonies. Once completed I will send you a copy to go over with a fine toothcomb. You can change it as many times as you want until it's just what you want.
I always suggest a rehearsal. It calms the nerves and everyone knows what's happening on the big day!

I live in Magical Mangawhai, with my husband and son. We have Kune Kune pigs, Charlie the goat, Chickens and Roosters, Benjamin the dog and Chuzzie the cat! I've been a Celebrant for 14 years and I'm CANZ registered. I'm originally from Cambridge in England. I've had the great fortune to live and work abroad in numerous countries, explored different cultures and had the time of my life before settling to this beautiful country over 20 years ago. I've taught English as a Foreign Language, been a Post Production Supervisor for TV, worked as a Rotoscoper on 'The Two Towers - Lord of the Rings' and owned my own cafe. I am a hypnotherapist, Thrive Coach, and a Licensed Menopause Expert for Menopause Experts Ltd.
